Senior forward Dominic Blad, Springfield Cathedral — The forward saved his team from its first loss of the season, scoring with just over two minutes left in regulation as the Panthers and St. John’s Prep played to a 1-1 tie.

Senior goalie Nick Russo, Waltham — Russo faced 36 shots on net by Archbishop Williams in the Cape Cod Classic and didn’t let one go by. The Hawks upset the Bishops, 1-0, in the first round of the tournament.

Senior goalie Joe Vinay, Archbishop Williams — Vinay helped the Bishops secure their first Catholic Central title since 1997 with a 4-4 tie against Austin Prep last Wednesday, and allowed just one goal against Waltham in a loss Saturday.

Junior forward Jake Barbera, Reading – Barbera recorded an assist and a goal in the Rockets’ 3-1 victory over Wilmington last Saturday night. The win all but assured a Super 8 bid for Reading and likely knocked Wilmington out of consideration.

Senior goalie Peter Cronin, BC High – The Eagles blanked Duxbury in their first Cape Cod Classic game, 3-0. Cronin shut out a team that has 84 goals on the season.
