Plans for MLK celebration

The community will celebrate the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday observance this year with Callie Crossley, host at WGBH Radio, as keynote speaker at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. Joining her on the program will be the Workmen’s Circle chorus, the Winiker Band, and Baker School Jazz Band. There will also be readings by students and teachers. The free event will begin at 4 p.m. on Jan. 16.
