CAMBRIDGE, Mass.—Harvard coach Tommy Amaker, who has been mentioned in connection with the opening at Boston College, is negotiating with the Ivy League school on a multiyear extension.

Amaker said Friday his heart is at Harvard.

The former Duke star had been mentioned as a possible successor to Al Skinner at Boston College after Harvard set a record this year with 21 victories, including nine by 20 or more points.
